112 FUDMA varsity students bag first class in Katsina

During the 7th and 8th combined convocation of the Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA), Katsina State, a total of 4,365 students would be granted various degrees.

Professor Armaya’u Bichi, Vice Chancellor of FUDMA, revealed at a pre-convocation press conference that 112 students graduated with first-class honours.

Bichi noted that during the simultaneous convocation ceremony, 1,131 students would be awarded second-class upper degrees, 2,476 second-class lower degrees, and 646 third-class degrees.

He further stated that the institution would graduate 401 postgraduate students, “of which 11 have PhDs, 168 have academic masters, 75 have professional masters, and 149 have postgraduate diplomas.”

The vice-chancellor said that “for the first time in the history of the university, we are graduating 401 postgraduate students, out of this, 11 have PhD, 168 have academic masters and 75 have professional masters, 149 have postgraduate diploma.”
