After obtaining his first School living certificate in Opobo primary school,he advanced to Comprehensive Secondary school, Opobo.

Thereafter,he decided to gain more academic qualifications by acquiring an MBA and MSC in finance at University of Port Harcourt.
CAREER
In 2003 Siminalayi became a teacher at Alesa-Eleme Comprehensive High School for five years and later advanced to principal accountant.
After that,he was employed as the director of Finance and Account by the State government in 2015.
In March 2020 he was made the permanent Secretary and he is also a member of Nigerian Institute of Management and Nigerian Association of National Accountants of Nigeria.
