Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, conveyed this announcement through a statement issued by the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Dr. Aishetu Ndayako, on Tuesday. The Minister took the opportunity to extend heartfelt congratulations to all Nigerians on this significant occasion.
In his message, Tunji-Ojo emphasized the importance of reflecting on the sacrifices and contributions of our founding fathers. He urged citizens to uphold the values of unity, security, peace, and indivisibility that form the bedrock of our nation.
