UCL Global Masters Scholarship

The UCL Global Masters Scholarship Program was set up with the intention of encouraging international students to pursue full-time master’s degree studies at UCL.

These scholarships target international students from low-income backgrounds.

A sum of £15000 for the whole of the first year.

How many scholarships are given?

85 scholarships.

Note that 5 of these scholarships are set aside for students from India.

You can apply for this scholarship if you:

Are eligible to pay the Overseas fee rate
Come from a low-income background
Have submitted a complete admission application (including the submission of references) for a full-time Master’s degree at UCL in 2024/25.

How do I Apply – Next Steps

You must first submit an admission application to UCL (including references) before applying for the scholarship.
After that, access the online scholarship form using the following procedure:
Login to Portico with your normal details.
Click on the ‘View’ button for the ‘Active Application’ that you wish to apply for funding for.
In the application screen, click on the ‘Funding’ in the menu at the top of the page.
Once you open the funding page, to find out which funds you are eligible to apply for click ‘Check and apply‘ under ‘Funds Available’.
Click on the scholarship name of the scheme that you wish to apply for.
